ORGANIC RED QUINOA WITH CILANTRO & RAW PINE NUTS
(Vegan/Vegetarian/Gluten Free Recipe)
Serves: 4-6
Baking Time: 20 Minutes
INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
1 Cup Organic Red Quinoa (You can used other variations if red is not available)
1 Cup Organic Cauliflower
2 Cups Alkalized, antioxidant water
1/2 Cup Organic Raw Pine Nuts
2-3 Fresh Organic Green Onions, sliced thin
3 Tablespoons fresh chopped organic cilantro
2 Tablespoons Organic Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Sea Salt & Pepper to Taste
Directions:
Rinse quinoa well. Place red quinoa, cauliflower and water in saucepan, covered bringing to a boil. Reduce heat to low covered. Simmer 15 minutes until all liquid is absorbed and quinoa opens up. Add pine nuts, green onions, cilantro, lemon juice and olive oil. Season to taste with sea salt and pepper. If you prefer no salt then omit the sea salt and pepper. Transfer to a bowl, serve and eat!

Get this same effect at home with this natural salt water tonic. Create great body with this simple
salt water tonic.
Ingredients you will need:
Kosher Salt
Purified alkalized antioxidant rich water
Take 2 cups of warm water and 1/4 cup of sea salt. Mix until the salt is completely dissolved. On wet/damp hair apply the salt water tonic to the roots and ends of the hair until fully saturated. Leaving the salt hair tonic in blow dry your hair. Follow with your standard hair care products to style if you use any. You will find your hair will have a lot more body using this natural salt water tonic.
This simple all natural hair repair treatment can be done at home in about an hour or less.
What you will need:
1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Cups Warm Water
Shower Cap or Plastic bag that will fit around your head
1 Hour minimum or more if you have more time
Squeeze Bottle With a Nozzle Tip (You can find one for about $2 at your local beauty supply store)
*You can also use a squeeze bottle with nozzle from agave or honey and just wash it out thoroughly)*
Directions:
Take 2 cups of warm water and mix with 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil. If you have really long hair you can add more olive oil for more coverage. Take the mixture and put it into a clean and sterile squeeze bottle. Shake vigorously. Begin to apply on roots and then out to ends of hair. When liquid is all used, pin back hair if it is long or put into a bun on top. Cover with shower cap, if you do not have one you can also use a plastic bag that will fit around your head. Leave the cap on for 1 hour minimum. If you have more time you can leave it on longer. Once you are completed with the treatment rinse out. You do not have to shampoo after your done, a simple rinse of the oil will be perfect, or you can shampoo. You will find your hair will be naturally silkier and softer and you can do this at home. I like to do this natural home treatment when I am cleaning the house. The time goes by quick and by the time I am ready to shower my chores are done, I clean up and my hair is beautifully soft and silky. Try it when you have time and you will want to say good bye to other expensive conditioning and hair care treatments. If you have a dry scalp be sure to get some of the solution on your scalp and it will nicely treat any dry spots.
Walnut, Garlic Pesto With Tofu & Basil
Naturally Vegan & Vegetarian
Yields: 2 Cups

Ingredients:
1 Cup Raw Organic Walnuts
3/4 cup Tofu
1/2 teaspoon Organic Lemon Juice
4 cloves garlic, chopped
4 Cups Fresh Organic Basil
2 tablespoons Nutritional Yeast
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions:
Food process walnuts until fine. Add garlic, basil, tofu, yeast, lemon juice and pepper until creamy consistency. Great Over pasta, veggies, whole grains, on toasted artisan bread or as a dip, or spread for sandwiches. The nutritional yeast adds a nice earthy cheesy flavor without the cheese making this dish vegan and healthy for all to enjoy. If you like a more cheesy taste add more nutritional yeast as desired.
Fruit & Nut Salad with Agave, Spinach & Gorgonzola
Yield: 4 Servings
Time: 5 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 Cup Organic Spinach, cleaned well and drained
2 Organic Plums, pitted sliced thin
3 Teaspoons Organic Agave (I use Madahava)
1/4 Cup Raw Organic Walnuts
1/4 Cup Raw Organic Almond Slices
1/8 teaspoon Organic lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon Black pepper
2 tablespoons Extra Virgin olive oil
1/4 Cup Vegetarian Gorgonzola Cheese, crumbled
1/8 Cup Organic Purple Onion, thinly sliced
Direction:
In a bowl, combine agave, lemon juice and pepper. Stir until dressing thickens. Add spinach, plums, gorgonzola, red onions, walnuts and almonds. Toss until coated.
