Basil Wine for Improved Digestion
Basil wine is a great digestive aid that can be made easily at home. Steep a small bunch of fresh washed and cleaned organic basil in a bottle of your favorite white wine for 24 hours. I use an organic Argentinian wine from Whole Foods that runs $6 which is my favorite. You can use your favorite. Then strain the wine and refrigerate. Drink a 4 oz glass after meals to improve digestion. You can garnish it with a slice of lemon or orange and a piece of basil. Drink your 4 oz with meals you typically have a hard time with and you will see the improvement in your digestion right away.
