Kale & Turnip Greens with Garlic & Onions

2 Cloves Organic Garlic, sliced
1/2 Organic Onion, chopped
1 Bunches Organic Lacinato Kale
1 Bunches Organic Turnip Greens
1 Teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Sea Salt & Pepper to taste (optional)
Rinse greens well, removing stems. In a large pot of boiling water cook greens rapidly, covered, over medium heat for 25 minutes until tender. In small hot skillet add olive oil garlic and onions cooking until golden and tender, remove and set aside. Serve greens with some of the pot liquid and a teaspoon of the roasted garlic and onions mixing well.
If desired, cut greens with sharp knife and fork prior to serving. Makes it easier to eat.
