Almond Agave Cornmeal Pancakes
Topped with Fresh Strawberries

Time: 7 Minutes
Yield: 2 Servings
(7 Item Recipe)

Ingredients:

1 Egg or Vegetarian Egg Replacer
1 1/2 Cup Almond Milk
1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/4 Cup Fine or Coarse Cornmeal
Organic Agave as Desired

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together until well blended, then pan fry on a hot, greased griddle or frying pan until golden brown, turning once.  Serve with Agave.  You can also use honey or maple if preferred.
Top with fresh sliced organic strawberries.

      Me too! Thanks for this post. After reading this Mom’s Guide (http://www.1dental.com/moms-guide/), I started taking inventory of what I feed my 4 year old – so much sugar and processed food! I never realized. My eyes have been opened to this whole new world of healthy eating. Look forward to using ingredients like the ones you mentioned for healthier choices for my family.
