Onion, Mozarella & Garlic Burger with Organic Lettuce & Tomato Served on a
Organic Sesame Mini Bun

Yield: 4 Mini Burgers

1/4 Cup Organic Onion, diced
3 Bulbs Organic Garlic, diced
1/2 lb Organic Beef (80/20), no hormone, steroid free
4 Organic Tomato slices
2 Leaves Organic Romaine, cut in halves
Sea Salt & Freshly Ground Pepper
1/4 Organic Jalapeno, diced fine
1/4 Cup Organic Mozzarella, part skim, low fat, shredded (optional)
Cut up all your onions, garlic, jalapeno, lettuce and tomato. When done take the meat and add the chopped onion, garlic and jalapeno and seasoning mixing together well. Preheat large pan on medium high heat. Place burgers on hot pan. Cook burgers for 2 minutes on each side until golden. If topping with cheese add the cheese in the last 1 minute after flipping meat. Take mini bun add the lettuce and tomato to the top. Then add the burger to the bottom bun. Add your favorite condiments to the bun.
We ended up making 4 mini burgers that were quite large for under $3. These are fresh organic beef with fresh ingredients. Most of the adults ate 2-3 of these while the kids ate just one and were full. Nice recipe for clean home made mini burgers. If you need more burgers just double the recipe.
