Using Leftovers to make healthy new creations
If you find yourself with leftovers and just don’t feel like another day of turkey or roasted chicken be creative. Pull out some healthy ingredients and make a new creation.
With the leftover roasted chicken we had we created delicious whole live grain sandwiches on Ezekial bread adding avocado, bell peppers, carrots, romaine, and cucumbers. We made a simple olive oil and lemon dressing to dip the sandwiches in and they were super nutritious and delicious. They also made over the meal and didn’t feel like turkey or chicken again.
Be creative with your leftovers and you will see you can make new healthy meals in a flash! These sandwiches took all of 4-5 minutes and they were done.
