Cayenne
Cayenne is wonderful for adding a spicy flavor to any dish or meal. It is also a wonderful way to keep sinus congestion and
sore throats at bay. You only need a very little bit of Cayenne to reap its healing properties, as a little goes a long way.

Cayenne is ground dried cayenne chili peppers. They are rich in capsaicin, a wonderful healing substance which is responsible for their heat.
The capsaicin is great natural remedy for soothing a sore throat and much better then other over the counter remedies which typically create dry irritated tissue. Cayenne is also a great for breaking up congestion, keeping bacterial infections at bay, as well as flushing out irritants.
Another great use for cayenne is to relieve muscle and joint pain simply by applying an ointment topically.
Uses
Cayenne pepper adds spicy heat to an array of foods from chili and mexican dishes to veggies, rice and desserts. You only need a very small amount to season your food with a little heat. Cayenne also gets spicier over time so be careful not to over use it, as you can always add more.
Caution:
Children under 2 should avoid cayenne as well as nursing mothers.
