Cinnamon – An amazing healing food
Cinnamon has sweet woody notes of bright spice. This spice has also been touted as an effective treatment for type 2 diabetes.

Cinnamon named Cinnamomum cassia, is a heavy and rich, spicy, cousin Ceylon cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon a day has been found to regulate blood sugar levels, according to a study at the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Human Nutrition Research Center in Beltsville, Md. The results may mean that cassia can be an aid in treatment of type 2 diabetes. Cassia is prized for antifungal, antibacterial, and antiparasitic qualities, which may make it work harder against the bacteria that causes stomach ulcers, and yeast infections.
